  1. Thanks so much for all the recipes! I want to try the keto diet but I am afraid because I am lactose intolerant and I have a really hard time digesting beef. I see a lot of your recipes are diary free and maybe I could avoid beef?

  2. I am thankful I stumbled upon your site. When my son was diagnosed with autism the first thing we did was go GFCF. But a 2 year old needs good fats for their developing brain. What were we to do without whole milk? (The world is led to believe it is only source of good fat!). Then you made a lifestyle change that could not have come at a better time for my son. I’ve been taking screenshots of all your meals on instagram (I’m ethnic_ambiguity on there) and recreating those but this is super exciting. I’ve been struggling with my weight after developing hypothyroidism. I just got engaged and I have no desire to even plan the wedding since I am so uncomfortable in my own body.   7. Will turkey bacon work as a substitute for regular bacon or can you think of a bacon (pork) alternative?

    Thanks for posting all these. Ketosis diet was something my doctor just suggested I try- with no further guidance. Hate to say, I find this diet a bit intimidating. You’re blog is making it more approachable.

    • I’m sure it will work perfectly! But if you’re looking to try out ketosis, you may find that turkey bacon is way too high in protein and isn’t enough fat to help you meet your requirements. I’ll be sharing SO much in my upcoming 30-day meal plan + Q&A – make sure you’re on my list!

  8. Really like hearing about your low carb/high fat approach. I have had good luck with feeling good on a low carb plan in the past, and I do think it helps with hormonal weight gain, etc. However, I started eating a plant based diet 3 years ago after cancer treatment. I find it really hard to eat low carb and meat free. But I feel like the carbs I eat are making me gain weight and feel bloated. Any advice?

    • Hey Sara! Are you avoiding doing the low-carb approach because you feel better with plant based? It sounds like (perhaps I’m wrong?) that you felt better on low-carb than you’re feeling on plant based?

      • Hi – thanks so much for your reply. I do feel better on low carb – the carbs in my plant based diet were definitely making me feel bloated and gain weight – prob bc Im post menopausal. However, I started eating plant based as a lifestyle change after cancer – due to lots of research about animal protein and inflammation and acidity possibly causing tumor growth – so I’m afraid to go back to eating meat. I do eat eggs now, though, on advice of my naturopath. I just wish it was easier to be plant based AND low carb…
