    • I don’t have fat bombs every day. I tend to have them if I’ll be out all day and will need a snack or I’ll have them for breakfast in place of my usual Rocket Fuel Latte. It totally depends on my hunger level as well– I just eat til I’m full and satisfied ;)

  1. Leanne, wondering what you think about Coconut Butter (versus oil) in Fat Bombs? I created my first few recipes with them because I think it adds incredible sweetness, but then I realized coconut oil has zero carbs/sugar, where Coconut Butter has a few. Is coconut butter more of a fat or carb? Good for fat bombs or better to not use this way? Thank you!

    • I tend to use both! Coconut butter is very low in net carbs so I don’t worry about it.

  2. Half the recipes printed from the print button, the rest gave a blank page.

    • Sorry for that! Some of these recipes are not mine so if you have trouble printing them, it’s best to reach out to the author of the recipe.

  3. First time I have seen your blog… I am just on Keto for 6 weeks, and have been successful in losing 12 lbs., but have totally stopped losing for a week. Have any good ideas about why this might happen? I am 72 and active.
I find your THE KETO DIET book is so very helpful. Am also reading Mancinelli’s THE KETOGENIC DIET, and Taubes’ WHY WE GET FAT. I like this blog too, and appreciate your replies to questions asked.

  4. I’m just starting on my keto journey. My husband and I do not have kids. I buy the groceries and cook… & have been slowly converting our kitchen to keto. My husband is 100% ish on-board, but WILL NOT! get rid of or give away (Perfectly fine) non-keto food. But I digress… I know it’s got sugar in it, but it PB2 powder OK? It’s what we’ve got until it’s gone and I buy more. You don’t seem to use it or anything peanut for that matter. Is it b/c peanuts are legumes?

    • I don’t use peanuts for anything because I’m deathly allergic. So, it’s totally up to you! Like you mentioned, many people don’t do well with peanuts because they’re a legume. And keep in mind, if the product you have has sugar in it, it could make it harder for you to get into ketosis and become fat adapted.

  5. The link for the better than mounds coconut fat bombs is a link to the chocolate fat bombs listed above it. Can you please update the link?

  6. Another holistic nutritionist here. I have fought a long battle with intestinal bacteria and yeast, and live on fat…lol. I also make fat bombs, but yours are far more creative and interesting. LOVE them!

    • Yay! Love finding other nutritionists who embrace a high-fat eating style ;) Not all of these recipes are mine, but all of them sure are tasty. So glad you love them!

  7. Is there a fat bomb I could make with just coconut oil and peanut butter?

    • I’m sure if you searched on Google you’d find a ton of them! I’m allergic to peanuts so I do not have any recipes like that.
