  1. I’ve also been experimenting with a fasting protocol and so far its become very clear that my body does not like the fasting when I am in my ovulatory cycle. It tends to cause hunger issues in the later half of the day and I find myself with crazy cravings. This doesn’t happen at all when I fast during the second half of my cycle. In fact my body really thrives when following a time restricted eating plan during this time. With that in mind, during the first half of my cycle, I start my day with a fatty green smoothie full of good stuff and then I’m fine, no craving later in the day, all is well. Wondering if you have notice any difference in fasting during the first half of your cycle vs the second half.

    • So interesting! I notice that my hunger levels (especially for protein) really increase during my ovulatory phase as well. I usually don’t fast during that time because I’m extra hungry. Love that you’re listening to your body and not forcing the fasting when it doesn’t feel right!
