I asked my followers on Facebook a couple of weeks ago what quinoa flake bake flavor I should come up with next.
Although there was a strong following for carrot cake at first, snickerdoodle ended up sliding into first base.
A couple of tries later and I successfully landed on a cake that was perfectly sweet, dense, but not too hard, and resembled a cookie. Booya!
Then I made it for myself 6 additional times just to be sure.
It’s all about quality control, folks.
;)
The sprinkled flax you’re seeing is crushed flax from Omega Crunch. They naturally separate the shell from the germ of the flax seed making the omega-3 oils readily available. Whereas when you eat whole flax seed, there’s not much omega-3 absorption going on. This is unless the flax seed is ground, but who can snack on a bowl of ground flax seed? blah
Their product is so good you can eat it straight out of the container, something I do every night before bed.
I just ordered a 2kg tub of their maple flax last week and can’t wait for it to arrive. $10 says it’ll be gone in less than a month.
Another product I have to chat about are Goody’s new(ish) spin pins. Have you tried them?
I have really layered hair so there are a couple of pieces that just don’t fit into a bun naturally, but holy moly does this product work! I managed to keep this bun in my hair all day long and it didn’t budge.
Spin pins and my bumpit – you may laugh, but I love that darn thing – make my morning hair routine a 2 minute event.
Ta-ta from the girl with an awesome updo… on a Tuesday!
