Flourless-Cookies

Everything you love about milk & cookies but with the nutrients your body needs to maintain a strong, healthy heart.

I liberally enjoyed a plate of warm cookies dipped in milk last week. I separated bite-sized pieces from each cookie, dipped them in my chocolate milk, and slowly enjoyed each and every last bite.

I'm ready!

It was an ultra soul-nourishing activity.

My heart was happy, my soul smiled and my body thanked me, inside and out.

Bliss.

I’ve had my fair share of frantic late night cookie binges, followed by waves of guilt, regret, anger and distrust in my body.

But this cookie experience? Wasn’t that.

Hours before, I set out on a mission to create a dessert that would make me feel happy and healthy.

I wanted grain-free cookies that would strengthen my heart and vegan milk that would keep my bones healthy and strong.

With the help of my favorite nutrient-boosting ingredients from Natural Vitality, I made those cookies and I blended that milk.

I got out of my head and into my body. I allowed myself to enjoy the experience.

And now? I’m sharing that experience with you.

This vegan chocolate milk has over 500mg of calcium in every glass, thanks to a generous amount of Natural Vitality Osteo CALM added to the mix. Combined with the healing properties of high-quality cocoa powder and cashews, this drink is just as energizing as its dairy-filled counterpart.
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to the bowl of your high-powered blender and blend on high for 2 minutes, until cashews are completely broken down.
  2. Transfer to a jug, cover, and chill overnight.
Notes
If honey is used, recipe is no longer vegan. Milk can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. Give it a good shake before serving.

If you do not have Natural Vitality Osteo CALM, feel free to add a powdered calcium supplement or probiotic.

Osteo CALM is not paleo (it contains xanthum gum) feel free to omit and use the suggestions above.

And, although the milk was great and I had no problem polishing it off, the cookies? Stole the show.

You’ll never guess what I made them with.

Kevin didn’t. He still doesn’t know… and he ate 8… for breakfast.

Don’t have Natural CALM just yet? You can try omitting it from the recipe. I am guessing that the cookies will not rise as much as they did with the CALM in there, but I think they’ll taste fine.

Then, go grab some CALM HERE. My favorite way to enjoy it is adding it to my water before restorative yoga to help relax my muscles and encourage major openness. It’s magic.
