We’re rockin’ into day 2 of the cleanse. How are you doing?
I’m a bit tired and my skin is doing something funky – blemishes galore up in ‘her, but otherwise I’m feeling great. It’s normal, when doing a cleanse, to feel a bit slow and tired, so I’m not too concerned. Slow and steady wins the race today!
Yesterday’s sweet potato juice was ridiculous, wasn’t it? I thoroughly enjoyed knocking that one back… once, twice, three times yesterday! As if that wasn’t enough, we have an even better veggie juice to feast on today. Yep, better.
This juice is good. Crazy, mad good.

- 4 cups baby spinach
- ½ head of collards (about 6 leaves)
- 1 English cucumber
- ½ bunch of parsley (about 1 cup lightly packed)
- ½ bunch of cilantro (about ½ cup lightly packed)
- Juice from ½ lemon
- If you have a ‘low’ setting on your juicer, juice all items in the recipe but the lemon juice. When complete, add lemon juice, stir and enjoy!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
For those wondering, I use an Omega 8006 Nutrition Center Commercial Masticating Juicer.

Happy morning Leanne
My cleanse went a bit off track yesterday. I’d planned to be home and the weekend was looking to be a quiet one but my aching ankle insisted on a visit to the Dr., who insisted on a visit to radiology at the hospital…and before you know it…it’s afternoon and I’ve only had one serving of juice for the entire morning! I arrived home hungry and dehydrated
On the plus side: the first juice recipe is DELICIOUS! The fresh lemon juice really brightens it up and I did manage to get almost the full batch in by day’s end along with a lot of water. Today I am starting with your sweet potato juice (I call it the Pink Lady) just to boost my immunity against anything I was exposed to at the hospital during flu season. ICK. Full speed ahead today which means rest, recovery hydrating and juicing. Best wishes to you!
As I said, starting next Friday, but I have been craving a green juice like this so bad! I had one on my long drive home the other day and it gave me the energy to not go mad at the traffic and weather! There is nothing like a good green juice!
Mmmm what a nice recipe. Will have to give this a go sometime this week.
It’s by far my favorite juice that I’ve ever made… and I make a lot of juices! Hope you like it, Melissa!
Hi leanne,
What juicer are you using to make the green juice? I’m in search of a juicer and looking for some ideas as what to buy
Thanks
Hi Jedith – I have a Breville Juice Fountain that I received for Christmas over 7 years ago. I’ve used it about 4 times a week since that very first day I bought it and have never had issues with it. It’s not the best juicer out there, but it’s a good price and does the job well.
