I am in love with light smoothies right now.
Just a touch of fruit, a little water, a bunch of veggies and; if my body needs it, a scoop of protein powder, seeds or healthy oils, and I’ve got a big, summertime smile painted right across my face.
The family and I; Kevin, my little sister, her boyfriend, Mom and Dad (plus our two dogs), have spent the last couple of days camping in British Columbia. Friday, we loaded up a large cooler with cucumbers, spinach, beets, berries, grapes, oranges, peaches and protein powder, all for making smoothies. We’ve kayaked, golfed, went for glorious walks in the sunshine, napped… It’s been quite fun.
