Red Rooster Smoothie

A bright red smoothie made with loads of veggies and a touch of fresh fruits.

  • 1 cup water
  • 6 strawberries
  • 2 slices of raw red beet, chopped (approx. 2 tablespoons)
  • 15 green grapes
  • ½ cucumber, skin removed
  • ½ orange, skin removed
  • 2 large handfuls of spinach
  • 4-6 ice cubes


  1. Add all ingredients to the jug of your blender in the order they are listed and blend for 20-30 seconds, until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.

Adding protein powder or chia seed into the mix will help with natural separation of the ingredients. I don’t mind the separation (I just swish the mixture around a bit as I’m drinking it and it tastes fine!) but it’s a preference thing.
