Lentil Bake with Sugar-free Barbecue Sauce

LentilBakewithSugar-freeBBQSauce6-Ingredient homemade sugar-free barbecue sauce that’s just so darn good!

BBQ sauce craze. Happening right now.

My daily eats are filled with it.

Heck, I even dip my sweet potato fries in the stuff (mixed with a little mayo, of course ;)

The thing about BBQ sauce? It’s full of sugar.

Before grabbing a copy of the Seasonal Comfort Food Cookbook, I really didn’t think that barbecue sauce could be made without sugar.

Goodness me, was I wrong.

I changed up the recipe from the cookbook just a touch and am so excited to share it with you.

I hope you lick the spoon and drizzle it on gawrsh darn everything.

  3. Allow to cool and store in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
Pasta sauce: sugar-free pasta sauce exists... you just have to read the labels very carefully. It doesn't have to be the fancy kind either. I was able to find a Superstore brand pasta sauce that was free of gluten and sugar. Woo!

If you were stranded on an island… and you could only bring 1 condiment (that would last forever) with you, what would it be?
