The best thing that I’ve ever done for myself is to just let me be ME. It’s a practice that sounds simple, but unpacking all of the ways I’ve learned to restrict who I am and what I want is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It’s also one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done; each day, I grow deeper into myself, and fall more in love with who I am.
Was it terrifying taking those first steps to free myself? YOU BETCHA. But change comes from stepping into that uncomfortable territory. There is growth in discomfort.
