I want...

Out of all of the questions I receive about the ingredients I use here on HP, the most popular is;
Where can I find gluten-free, vegan carob and cocoa products?Followed by,
What healthy sweeteners or sugars do you recommend and where can I buy them?While I’ve managed to locate products here and there, many are either gluten-free OR vegan, sugar-reduced OR natural, or just not available internationally. Not exactly a solution I can recommend to everyone, now is it…? When I found Chatfield’s there was a glimmer of hope. Their gluten-free, vegan carob chips, carob powder, cocoa powder, and date sugar are the stuff that dreams are made of. I made muffins, cookies, pancakes, and doughnuts with their natural products. Finally, a line of baking products I could believe in. I was thoroughly impressed.
Then I discovered Canadians just couldn’t purchase them. Anywhere. And, Americans could, but at a pretty high price.
$7.50 for a bag of carob chips? Um I like carob, but not that much.
So frustrating.
But Panos brands; a consumer packaged goods company that manages Chatfield’s, offered to help me come up with a solution that I’m pretty excited about.

I’d love to know if you end up ordering and what you thought of it. It’s rare that I find a product like this that I really, really believe in and am able to create a solution so that everyone can give it a try, no matter where they live.
A big thanks goes out to Panos and My Brands for making this happen for all of us :)
Note: Chatfield’s Date Sugar, Carob Powder and Cocoa Powder are processed in a certified gluten free facility. The Carob Chips are gluten free, processed in a facility that does not handle wheat, however, the facility is not certified gluten free.
