by July 19, 2017

Prepare these smoothies the night before for quick smoothie making. Great for leftover fruits and veg that you need to clean your fridge of. Just throw it in and hope for the best!

Prep Time:

Serves:

1

Ingredients

Strawberry banana flavor
  • 1/2 banana
  • 6 strawberries
  • 1 cup green tea
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 serving probiotics
Blueberry peach flavor
  • 1/2 peach
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup green tea
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 serving probiotics

Instructions

  1. Choose a flavor, or prepare both. They stay well in the fridge for 2 days, so you can make both ahead of time.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a 1L mason jar. Seal and place in the fridge overnight.
  3. In the morning, place contents in a blender and blend to your hearts content.
  4. Enjoy!

Notes

You can make this smoothie right in the blender, or have it sit overnight. I like letting it sit overnight so the chia has time to get really gelatinous.

If you don’t want to use green tea because of the caffeine, try a nice herbal tea.
