Apple Butter Barbecue Sauce

A deep tasting, thick, and sweet barbecue sauce, perfect for burgers! Making your own barbecue sauce is not only better for your health it’s also cheaper than the store bought stuff!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and heat over low heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Use immediately, or allow to cool before storing in a glass container.
