I have struggled with my weight since a knee injury in high school when I tore my ACL and never quite recovered physically or mentally. Fast forward almost 20 years, I’m a mother of a very active 2.5-year-old. I’ve been starving myself on low cal diets and always remain in yo-yo land of 175-190 lbs and I’m only 5’7″. I had been eating a whole food diet with limited dairy and almost no sugar, but I was obsessed with tracking calories and logging my food with very little result. Then I found you during a desperate internet search to change things and I’m so glad I did! It’s only been a few weeks but I’m already losing weight, and more importantly, I’m understanding how to listen to my body…no more calorie tracking and I feel great. Best of all, I’m finding that I even have more patience with my son. When he throws a fit I don’t find myself snapping immediately, I’m calm and cool and able to defuse the situation. There’s so much more I could say but I’ll just end with THANK YOU!
