The one simple daily action that I do to increase my daily nutrition, reduce allergies, strengthen digestion and eliminate toxins… and you can do it, too! Our little planet doesn’t have the soil that it used to. Our produce; even the organic varieties, are lacking in nutrients. Did you know? The state of our soil is making our fruits & veggies less nutritious (in key vitamins and minerals, vitamin A, C, calcium, iron), by close to 30%? Scary thought. More of them here. What we put on our plate is important. But sadly, it’s not enough. We need to do something more. Relying solely on your plate to deliver all of the nutrients we need in today’s landscape isn’t realistic. On the other hand, neither is spending $130 on the latest and greatest whole food-based multivitamin from the health food store. Since starting a ketogenic eating style that’s focused on whole foods, I’ve become more and more interested in reaching (and exceeding) whole body health with whole food nutrition. No lab-boosted supplements welcome. One area that’s caught my attention is greens powders. A good greens powder…
