    Since this is an intro episode, could you please fill in some details on your training? You mentioned studying nutrition…could you offer your credentials (whatever they may be) in the nutrition field? Where did you study? What certificate or degree do you have? Whether gov’t accredited or not, I’m sure many people would like to know.


  3. Dear Amber and Leanne,
    I am nearing 60. Through menopause I was on bioidentical HRT. I have done paleo with high fat/low carb. I have reversed my prediabetes, and have excellent lipid profiles. I am on a very low dose of amour thyroid still. Unhappily tho my weight has gone up 40#. I have excellent energy with most of it in the morning.
    Sadly my weight gain is in my stomach, arms, back and calves. Greatly disappoint looking like this but feeling good.
    I have been planning to go on the Keto protocol with Leanne,s Beginning book. Is this the right choice,scared I may gain more weight. Help!

    • Hi, Joy! If what you’re doing isn’t working, you’re in a fine place to try something new! I can’t speak from a medical standpoint, as I am not your healthcare provider. But I have seen many women in your place have great success with this eating style. I would recommend reading through Fat Fueled, and perhaps following the Daily Fat Burner Profile. This profile includes a bit extra carbs to help support your thyroid! I hope this helps :)

  4. Hey there! I was wondering if you had any plans to talk about the differences between men’s keto and women’s keto styles. I’ve heard you mention it before but im not sure if there is a vlog you’ve done on the subject. Thanks for all the awesome info and for spredding the good word about food!
