Until a couple of years ago, I thought salt, was salt. Table salt, sea salt, it’s all the same and it’s all bad for you. Right?
Wrong!
Did you know there are actually therapeutic benefits to certain salts? Or that if taken correctly, salt can actually be good for your health? I know, you’re thinking I’m crazy… read on.
Just as fresh fruits and vegetables are good for you [due to the limited amount of processing they’ve been through], so is natural, unprocessed salt. The less processing any food goes through, the more nutrients it’s going to have. Simple as that.
Salt is absolutely essential for life, so it would make sense that the salt you choose can have a major impact on your health. Good news is that it’s probably one of the easiest things to change in your daily diet!
