Apple Butter Barbecue Sauce

A deep tasting, thick, and sweet barbecue sauce, perfect for burgers! Making your own barbecue sauce is not only better for your health [less sugar, 0 corn] it’s also cheaper than the store bought stuff!
  • ½ cup apple butter – apple sauce can be used as well, sauce will be a bit thinner
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon himalayan rock salt
  1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and heat over low heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Use immediately, or allow to cool before storing in a glass container.
Can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 month.
