Why Organic Hemp Is Important

Making sure you’re purchasing safe hemp hearts, snacks, and other products.

There is this thing called phytoremediation (try saying that 3 times fast) – where plants and associated soil microbes reduce the concentrations or toxic effects of contaminants in the environment.

Guide on how to start keto.

I'm ready!

Phytoremediation is a technique used to restore land, pulling out the gunk in the soil, cleaning it up for other crops.

Here’s the problem: specific plants that we consume are phytoremediators – they soak up everything around them. And then, we eat them.

Hemp is one of those plants.

This is why it’s so so so so so important to make sure that hemp is certified organic and sustainably sourced.

Without those qualifications, you’re without a doubt getting heavy metals, toxins, pesticides, and other gunk in your hemp heart, CBD, or snack product.

This goes for CBD oil, hemp heart snacks, all of it.

If you’re going to do hemp (you should be doing hemp, it’s natures multi-vitamin!) then, you gotta make sure it’s safe to consume.

This is why I LOVE Eaton Hemp, hemp hearts because they’re USDA Certified Organic, 100% North American grown, processed, and packaged, the right price, and farmer-owned. Yes, farmer-owned, so you know your seeds are being grown in good hands.

Plus, they taste good. Comparing their hemp heart taste to competitors is like comparing farmers’ markets, fresh vegetables to ones you can tell have been sitting around for a while. Very noticeable taste and freshness difference.

Yogurt, smoothies, salad, oatmeal, and more. Your favorite recipes are sure to see a huge nutritional boost. All you need to do is add Eaton Hemp’s Organic Hemp Hearts (or Toasted Super Seeds, if you prefer a crunch) and your favorite recipe’s nutritional value will skyrocket, and your body will thank you.

It’s such a blessing to understand what’s gone into your food, what food is best in your body, what to stay away from… and ALL that jazz.

But, as you start to add up the cost of things it’s $ $$ $$$ $ $$$… right?

There’s this tension we all carry, as we learn more and more about caring for our body – we want what’s best, but not at the cost of stressing about finances.

Such a delicate balance.

And, this is why I love love love that I’m able to reach out to brands and ask for discount codes for you all. I work very hard to source high quality brands that understand this tension, and are willing to work with me (and you!) on coming up with an offer you can actually use and benefit from.

If you’re eating hemp hearts (or other products containing hemp), I implore you to eat organic hemp. Like, seriously, this needs to happen.

And, we’re making it easier with…

SAFEHEMP35 code that’ll save you 35%

Whether you choose to use the code or not, it’s important you know that plants can soak up their environment and that environment can end up in your body. If you’re unclear on what to eat organic, here’s a great resource.
