  1. Just starting my keto diet today,love your beautiful book and recipes. I plan to follow classic keto plan week 1 to the letter. Used the shopping list and I’m ready. Even made muffins last night. One concern I have is sometimes I like to eat very simply and your diet plan is filled with recipes. Do you have any plans that are a little more basic? Not so much prep.

    • Monk fruit is a fantastic choice! I only recently discovered it and love it.

  3. I curious about monk fruit also. It is sold in Canada as Krista Monkey Fruit Sweetener. 80 X 1g packets

    • Yep, monk fruit sweetener is awesome! I haven’t tried that particular brand, though.

  4. PLEASE be careful using XYLITOL around your dog. Xylitol (sugarless gum) can cause a serious and possible life-threatening hypoglycemia in even relatively small doses.

    • I love monk fruit! I haven’t tried Julian bakery’s, but Lakanto is my favorite brand for monk fruit.

  5. I’m happier without sweeteners/sugar period. Sugar addiction is my context so its not an option for me if I want to stay on the straight and narrow. :)
    I hardly feel deprived, all the desserts did was make me feel worse. Will I never have it again? Who knows, but today I’m abstinent. :)

  6. I’ve recently been trying monk fruit which comes in small compressed powder blocks from the Asian grocery store. What’s your take on this alternative sweetener Leanne ?
